a. Note:   Family History according to Cousin Trish: Great Grandma was a housewife. Grandma and Aunt Marge said she was an excellent cook and often bragged about her food. Unfortunately, most of her recipes were committed to memory alone, and when she passed away (Date and cause unknown) most were lost to us. In addition, what recipes that do survive, were written with a lot of approximation regarding how many cups, teaspoons, tablespoons, etc., because Great Grandma measured nothing with conventional measuring devices. "A little of this and a little of that."

  Unsure of Great Grandma's spelling of maiden name. On Anthony Thomas Wilk's Certificate and Record of Birth, it is spelled Shemble. On his Certificate of Baptism, it is spelled Sambor. On his U.S. Social Security Act Application for Account Number, it is spelled Semble.
  On Paul William Wilk's U.S. Social Security Act Application for Account Number, it is spelled Shambul. Thomas Augustus Wilk's U.S. Security Act Application for Account Number states "can't find out" for maiden name spelling.
