Died at 3:30pm on Tuesday afternoon 7/15/1913 at the home of his sister, Mrs George Ketchum. 34yrs 7mos. 22days.
He is fifth of a family of ten children born to Hattie Timm Thurkow and Fritz Thurkow.
He is survived by his father, three brothers, five sisters, and fiancee Miss Bessie Gundrum(Gundram) of Leroy, MI. Fred Thurkow of Three Rivers; Bertha Hasbrouck of Jackson; William Thurkow, Jenni Thurkow Manning and Eliza Kethcum of Marcellus. Bessie Barker, Vera Lawrence and John Thurkow of Battle Creek, MI. His mother and one sister died before him.
Funeral Services were held from Evangelical Church Thursday afternoon at 2pm and burail at Bly Cemetary, Marcellus, MI.
