a. Note:   GEN: Otto lost one of his fingers due to an accident while working for the railroad. He was 6' 3" and weighed as much as 300 lbs. GEN: He took over as head of the family when Jacob was killed. He was a very forceful man, like his father. When he became ill, GEN: he stayed with the "Little Sisters of the Poor" He then went to St. Joseph Hill Infirmary in Eureka, Missouri where he died. GEN: At times in his life, he worked as a laborer, engineer, carpenter, bartender, foreman, iron worker, machinist. He was a GEN: retired machinist when he became ill. He died at the age of 76 years old. BURIAL: Otto is buried in Lot #35-Section 8 in Lake Charles Cemetery with his mother.
