Note: *Notes: Obituary for Mary: Willey - Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Hoffman were held at St. Mary's Church at 9 o'clock Monday morning. Solemn requiem high mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father H. J. Dries, assisted by the Rev. Father J. B. Greteman of Manson and the Rev. Father L. J. Greteman of Breda. The church was filled to its capacity. Pallbearers were six of her grandsons: Linus and Joseph Kennebeck, Edward Siebenaller, Alvin Hoffman, Norman Stangl and Leon Wurzer. Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were her brothers, Henry Greteman of Beardsly, Minn., Anton Greteman of Elk City, Oklahoma, Edward, Bernard and Frank of Foss, Oklahoma, a sister, Mrs. Joseph Spitz, and her daughter, Mrs. Frank Camphouse, of Canute, OK, Mr. and Mrs. John Hansman, the latter another sister, of Carroll, her sister-in-law, Mrs. George Hoffman, and sons, Martin and Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman, Mrs. Ben Kremer and daughter, Mrs. Ben Bremer, Mrs. Dominic Enck and Miss Rita Schmitt, all of Willmont, Minn., Mrs. Margaret Lois and daughter, Rose and John Greteman of Sioux City, Miss Amanda Hoffman of Omaha, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Simon and family of Churdan, Miss Bernadine Simon and Mrs. Henry Schmitz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hoffman all of Carroll; Mrs. Oscar Matt and daughter, Ann Marie, of Norfolk, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hoffman and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nagl of Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoffman and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Irlbeck of Dedham, Mrs. Catherine Greteman and son, Albert, Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Greteman, Mrs. Browne Reicher, Mr. Leo Greterman and Mrs. Felix Greteman and all of Templeton, Lawrence Balk of Wilmont, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. L? Mary's birthdate---9-30-1869 in St. Lucas, Iowa. Joseph and Mary lived on a farm southwest of Willey, Iowa for 42 years. They lived 2 farms away from her parents, Ed and Elesebeth (also called L or Lizzie), before the parents moved to Ok.
