Anna Marie LEIKEM/LEIKUM/LIKE (FRANZWA) possibly died from complications from childbirth - (note Peter William's birth date), in Honey Creek, Sauk Co., Wis., buried at Sr. Mary's, Sauk Co., Wis; Anna Marie m. 1st 18 Oct., 1853 in Sauk City, Wis., Anton Frederick FRANZWA; (four son's), see notes for Anton below. Anna Marie was the daughter of Fredericus Martin LEIKEM and Ruth? THEISSEN.

*Notes for Anton Frederick FRANZWA: Anton was born in 1823, Alsace, France. Anton owned 40 acres of land in either Dane or Sauk, Co., Wis., (near Baraboo?), according to the General Land Office Records for Wisconsin. The land office record was dated 10 Aug., 1850. Anton is said to have immigrated from Alsace-Lorraine province of Northern France. Anton died in 1859 in a farming accident, and is buried at St. Aloysius, Sauk Co., Wisconsin.

"Then his mother married a neighbor man whose wife had died. He had one boy, so that made 5 boys for dad's mother to care for. Then they had 3 more children--Uncle Tony Hugeback at Roselle, near Carroll, was one of them."
