  I was not able to find a baptismal record in or around 1788 in Bistrica, Črnomelj, Slovenia. There were no PETSCHEs in the baptismal records during or before that time period, (back to about 1780). https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSXD-R9MM-7?i=59&cat=406188 Even with an exact birth date from the family book page, (no location of birth but assumed Bistrica), I could not find an entry.
