Note: Found Gregory living in Montana on the 1880 census. It states that he was 56. That would make his birth year 1824.
2007 from Rose Leprell - Gregory Lapperell, was a house builder, was a widower in Montana, and Michigan, (census) was in the Infantry in Civil War on the Union side. His brother George traveled with him, was listed as a miner, laborer, etc.
