Note: Aug 11 from http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pick/bauler.txt FAMILIES IN BAULER, EIFEL, GERMANY MO DA YEAR FATHER LAST FATHER FIRST MOTHER LAST MOTHER FIRST MARRIAGE CHILD NAME LOCATION SPOUSE NAME 11 29 1867 JACOBY HUBERTUS KLEIN CATHERINE 2-5-1867 JOANNES BAULER 2 2 1870 JACOBY HUBERTUS KLEIN CATHERINE MICHAEL BAULER 6 16 1872 JACOBY HUBERTUS KLEIN CATHERINE PHILLIPUS BAULER 3 1 1875 JACOBY HUBERTUS KLEIN CATHERINE MARIE BAULER Aug 11 from Scott Jacoby: I have found something else that adds to the 3 Jacoby brothers. It has always puzzled me that Matthias and Hubertus (Hubert) only had one child a piece and William had 9 or 10 so I have been trying to disprove this thought for the last week. I have been successful with Hubert but it just opens more doors and questions which I guess is the fun part of all of our research. We know that Hubert immigrated in 1881 some time after his wife Catherine (Katherine) Klein passed away in Germany. We also know his son John immigrated with him...I don't know if we have ship records or anything else. Well, I found Hubert and Catherine in a small village called Bauler, Germany approx 10 km from Wallendorf, Germany. See the link below. It looks like Hubert had 4 children not 1. I've updated myheritage to include the birth dates and marriage date of Hubert. It is so puzzling. The other 3 children were younger than John. Did they remain in Germany? Did they immigrate to the U.S. but we just don't have record of them? What happened to Catherine? Soooo many questions:) Any ways, I thought you would enjoy the new find. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~pick/bauler.txt
