Magdalena was born in 1813 and had at least one brother, George. Her parents were John LaPrelle and Magdalena Schwartz. She was born in Alsace, lived in Buffalo NY, and died in 1879 in Dubuque Iowa. She married Johann Bisantz of Steinsoultz, Alsace. This is the sum total of what I have so far.

Looking for any information on Peter Bisantz, Wife Anna Maria Mislin, sons: Johann and Antony. Reported but unconfirmed that Peter emmigrated from Alsace c.1813 to New York, USA. Johann married Magdalena Laprelle, daughter of John Laprelle and Magdalean Schwartz - also of Alsace. She had a brother named George Laprelle. Antony married Maria Magdalena Kraft, daughter of Louis Kraft. Trying to trace the families in Alsace. Have most US information but not all.
Johanne Bisantz moved to Dubuque Iowa (USA) and the name changed to Bisanz somehow. Further changes by one of his eight children resulted in Biesanz's in Minnesota (USA).

Magdalena that was 18 at the time (of immigration). Who is she? I don't know if that was their oldest child or a sister or niece of John's. She is the one that married Johann Bisantz and went to Iowa.
