Notes
a. Note:   Frederick S Logue was a leading merchant in Potter County, PA, prior to 1902, when he moved with his wife and two oldest children, Stanley and Harold to old Thunder City, Idaho where he owned and operated a general store. Thunder City became Cascade ID. In 1925 his health failed and he had to seek a lower altitude in which to live. With his wife and children, he moved to Monroe WA where he opened another general store.
He served as State Representative from Boise County and as State Senator. (Jean Logue)
The Logue brothers, Fred and John had two stores in Thunder City and one later in Cascade. The railroad was being put in andpeople wanted it up the east side of the valley, but the farmers got greedy and raised the price of their land. The railroad was built up the west side of the valley. Thunder City became Cascade, Roseberry became Donnelly, Spink became extinct, Lardo became McCall.
Uncle Fred saw the need for a store in Snohomish, Washington. So Grandpa snet him there and they put in a store by a big truck garden that ran for miles. Well, Uncle Fred was a very religious mand and would not sell tobacco or beer, so needless to say, someone came along who would and run him out of business.
