 Served Boone County, Indiana as a weather observer for more tha
 n 55 years from October 1, 1910, to October 9, 1965.
 The Boone County native was also active in civic and community a
 ctivities. Clyde was a 50-year-member of the Masonic Lodge and w
 as a charter member of the Whitestown Lions Club. He was als
 o a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church at Whitestown, Indiana
 , and worked for years with the American Red Cross chapter in Le
 banon.
 Clyde started working for his father as a druggist in 1898. He r
 emained at the Whitestown drug store for more than 50 years befo
 re retiring. While a businessman, he was also secretary of the W
 hitestown Citizens Telephone Company for a number of years, an
 d he was secretary many years for the Masonic [email protected]@[email protected]@
