Note: Albert Madden Hudgens as well as his father, William H. Hudgens, Jr., are thought to have died from a yellow fever epidemic that affected the areas around Memphis, Shelby County, TN at this time. This is according to a journal kept by a Devlin relative of Josephine Branson Devlin Hudgens, Albert Madden Hudgens' wife. Albert as well as his father and several brothers and sisters are buried in the Edmondson Cemetery at Southhaven, MS. Betty Vinksi sent copies of the Edmonson Cemetery burial plots as well as history of cemetery and who owns and is buried in the cemetery.
