McCoy, friend of thebridegroom, was best man. Paul Worthy is referred to as a railroad manwith real estate holdings in Texas. St.Clair (?), born in Scotland; name of mother unknown,born in Scotland; details of casket are included; interment at ForestLawn; Graceland, Forest Lawn Memorial Park #3659-1; lot #631007; totalcharges for casket and service: $338.38 inc.tax. I have a card "to mama from Alda, Alice and Frank": "To My Mother. Toone, who knows me through and through. And yet, when skies are gray orblue, Still loves me with a love most true - A greeting, Mother Mineto you." Two newspaper obituaries on hand for Sadie Worthy: Residence: 1770Beloit Ave., West Los Angeles. "Widow of Paul C. Worthy (?) and motherof Mrs. Alice BECHDOLT and Mrs. Alda Webber, both of West Los Angeles,and of Frank Finnegan, Los Angeles. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. EllaBass, Denver, and Mrs. Mary Murray, Oakland. The second obituary notes she died after three operations at the SantaMonica hospital. Survivors: Husband, Paul C. Worthy; two daughters,Mrs. Alda Webber of Banning and Mrs. Alice BECHDOLT of 2543 Wellesleyavenue; a son, Frank Finnegan, of 1807 Beloit avenue; and two sisters,as above.
