Note: f Lt. at the time of his death. He is buried in the Regimental cemetery at Elzenwalle, Voormezeele, West Flanders, Belgium. There are graves of 106 soldiers from the United Kingdom, 41 from Canada, 2 from the West Indies and 5 unidentified. It should be noted that the majority of the Canadian soldiers are of the 22nd [French] Canadian Battalion.
