Note: nd in a plot next to J.LeRoy Tracy and Wilma (Wagner).Roy (my father) was their 3rd born son. Their 1st son was Keith, the second Thomas. Next a daughter, Eleanor and last was Gerald. All are deceased. Bessies sister Annie was married to Andrew J Wilson (Jack) and they lived many years at 1262 Hasbrook which was next door to Ernest and Bessie (1260) and across the street from Edgar (1269). Bessies mother was a Teegarden. A Teegarden couple are buried next
to her and Ernest. The dates on the stone show David b1904 and Maude b1908. Wayne A Gray age 21 was living with John J Sloan and wife Mattie and daughter Mattie R age10 at 1261 Hasbrook.His wife is their daughter Nellie age 19 (1920 census)
May 2001: Bessies father is Thomas W Gray (William Thomas) and her mother Estella (found Estella, widowed, living at Wilsons place on Hasbrook in the 1940 or 1942 KCK city dir. Census records show that Bessie was born in Missouri and Anna in Kansas. Also it shows that Bessie and Anna had different fathers.This may be an error. 11/01: Bessie's Father and mother were William Thomas Gray and Zuella Estella (Teegarden).Her sisters were Helen and Anna. Her brothers were Alfred W and Arthur L. The Gray family came here from Howard Co Mo.about 1890. 1910 census KS Wy Co 824 so 18th KCK : William "A" (should be E) age 32,Bessie 27, Ernest K (Keith)6 and Tom age 2. Bessie would be expecting my father LeRoy, who was born Aug 18 1910.
