a. Note:   Ezekiel Tracy b.1754. His wife was Sally Canfield. 1830 census of Otego, bought property there in 1827 and sold it in 1834. No Tracys were in the 1820 or 1840 Otego census. 1840 census has a Jedediah listed in Sidney but in 1850 only his widow and children
 are listed. Living next door is an Elihu Tracy. We think this was a misprint as he is listed as Ezekiel in 1855 census same place. Ezekiels children in 1850 are listed as daughter Ellen 7 mos. and Harmon at 5 yrs old. All of Jedediahs children were born before 1840.
 The 1840 census lists 6 girls and 3 boys.
 Jeds age is not listed but a male member is listed at between 40 and 50 which would be him. The possibility exists that people other than his kids lived with him.
 Update 6/5/00: Now have a copy of Jeds will in which he names 5 daughters and 3 sons, his wife Sally and his mother Patience. Will dated 4/27/1847 just a couple of months before he died. A John Tracy is listed on the 1850 census after
 Jed died. We believe this could be his brother at age 50.
 Jedediahs death is listed in the Sidney NY death list as having died of a stomach hemorage. Update April 2004: Found in Presbyterian Cem. Otego (Otsego Co NY)
 Jedediah Tracy d.27 June 1847 age 51 or 56 (stone down) also Harriet Adaline Tracy d.3 Jun AD 1840. Daughter of Jedediah and Lally (Sally) Tracy.Up to this date we were unaware of this daughter. Still unsure if Sally is buried here. Sept 2006: Headstone repaired by OM and set back up. He has spruced up this cemetery and repaired several headstones.
 Oct 2007: Stone damaged again and repaired again by OM.
Note:   This man is Ezekiel Tracy's (b1823) father.He is the son of my GGGG Grandfather
