a. Note:   ather large family and Lucy would fit as she would have been 17 in 1840, as was Ezekiel Tracy her husband. No Eli was found in the 1850 census but I did find a Sally Starr age 50. Listed are a Jesse age 22 (hard to read could be 42). Also listed are a Sarah A age 16,Edgar 11 and an unreadable female name age 14 (could be Roselea)
 Jan 2003: Received Starr family info from Michael. This from Starr family listing about the people of Butternuts (Morris). Eli was a farmer and mechanic.
 Feb 2003: Found several references to Eli in the book "A History of Otego" He was one of the owners of a piece of property settled on early by Ezekiel Tracy and Samuel Northrup (both are buried there). Other owners were Alonzo Judd,Hiram Randall and others.
 Eli and Sally are buried in Presbyterian Cemetery Otego. Also buried near them are 2 children with unreadable first names. One died in 184? and the other age 11.
