Note: th.Found her in 1920 at age 11 living in the Armourdale area of KCK with her parents and 2 sisters and a brother.Address looks like 917 Argentine Blvd. The 1930 census has the family at 1221 Garfield KCK.
In this census a Leora is not listed.The 1920 census listed Leona age 11 and Leora age 9.The 1930 census lists Leona at age 20, Josephine 16 and Albert 14. Leona spent her last years in Sharon Lane Nursing Home in the Kansas City area.
I attended her graveside services Mar 19th 2008. There were about a dozen people present at Highland Park Cem KCK.Rev. Michael May of St Lukes Lutheran Church officiated.Joseph A Butler Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. She never complained about spending her entire life taking care of her invalid son.
