Note: ing born in Illinois. her parents were born in Tennessee. A daughter Queen is listed age 18. Queens father was born in Kentucky.
Queens father is not Ezekiel. Miranda is buried in Olathe Cemetery and her headstone reads "Our Mother" and "Wife of Ezekiel Tracy". Her name is spelled "Maranda" on her headstone. Her and Queen first show up in the 1880 census of Oxford twnsp living with Ezekiel. The 1870 census of Westport MO has Miranda and family without a father listed. I believe Miranda and Ezekiel met in Westport.Ezekiels first wife Lucy died in 1867-8 in Westport.
Dec 2002: Info from Ezekiels obit in the Olathe Mirror 4/20/1916 gave us her maiden name and that they were married in 1871. Also they had two children of this marriage that died in infancy.
