Note: Lucys married name is Bemis/Bemus or Bemiss. Her name is in a deed 1863 transfering property owned by Levi. It mentions several of Jedediahs
children and their married names. Also a witness to the document was a
Asahel E Bemis. He may be related by marriage or could be her husband.
Her brother Ezekiel would be in Illinois in 1863 but she may have remained in NY. An Asahel Bemis shows up in Delaware Co (Franklin) in
the 1840 census and Otsego Co (Richfield) in 1830.
1850 Census Otego,Otsego Co NY she is 25 and living with the Jesse Broad? family.
1870 census of Otego lists Asel Beimus (spelled this way) age 63 and wife Lucy Ann age 45.Two children are Deville? age 12 and Charley 2. Living next door to William and Julia Tracy who have with them Sarah Tracy (Lucy Ann and William's mother?)
Lucy is in the 1880 Delaware Co Franklin census as a widow and is living with Niram Clark (who was married to Cynthia Tracy)also living with them is her son Charles age 12.
