a. Note:   Elias ended his life at the home of his son David in North Franklin. He and Sally farmed 40 acres (later 20 more were added). This farm was in Otsego. He sold his land in 1844. He was 90 when he died. He is buried with Sally near a Baptist Church in North Franklin. They were
 firm Baptists. They had 4 boys and 3 girls. One son David was a prominent citizen of Franklin. Another, Ezekiel was a blacksmith. A daughter Esther never married but she lived with David. Before that she shared a home with her sister Jane in the same town until it was
 broken by death in 1889.
