Note: John was living with Sally (Jedediahs widow) in 1850 Sidney census. He was listed as a farmer. There were other children of Sallys living there as well. Ezekiel (Johns nephew) was next door with wife Lucy,son Harmon age 5 and dau. Ellen age 7 mos. John was probably helping out on the place as Jedediah was dead.
John was deaf. This was noted in the 1860 census and he was living with the Nathan Clark family in Franklin. He is 62. His sister Luvina we believe was deaf as well. It was listed in one census that there were two members of the family that were deaf.
