is buried Pleasant Ridge Cem. on 135th 1/2 mile west of Quivera in Jo.Co. This was their only child,a son.
1875 Oxford Township Johnson Co KS census: age 21 at home with family Aug 2002: 1895 Oxford Johnson Co KS census shows St. Clair age 41 an elevator employee b Ohio and came to KS from Illinois.Ellen was 45 and came here from Ill. The McConnells actually lived in Gallatin Twnsp MO before coming to KS.Clay Co 1870 census of MO.page 46.
April 2003: Info from Margaret Pirtle: St Clair and Ellen lived for a time in Clare (Clair)(St Clair) Co Mo.Centre Tshp. This would be about 1900-1910. Ezekiel Tracy was with them and the farm was free and clear.Clair was born in Mad River Township.Possibly Urbana Ill.
June 2003: Ordered a headstone for St Clair and Ellen.
Aug 8 2003:Set headstone for St Clair and Ellen.
May 20 2004: Rec from M.P. a copy of St Clair's death certificate. He lived 66yrs 5mos 20d. He died of a cerebral hemorhage. The last census he appeared in was 1915 Olathe. He and Ellen were living in town and were both 65.
