NORRIS Clifford George Norris, 90, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He was born February 23, 1927 in Branchville, SC to the late Clarence & Pearl Norris, Sr. Clifford was a graduate of Branchville High School class of 1944, had lived in Jacksonville since 1961 and was of the Baptist faith. He was a plant manager for Western Union Telegraph and a Divisional Vice President for Bugs Burger-Bug Killers. Clifford loved cooking, baking, lived a productive life and will be dearly missed by all. Clifford was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Sara Norris; son, Kevin Norris; brothers, Carl Norris, Tommy Norris and Clarence Norris, Jr. Survivors include his sons, George Norris (Colleen), Terry Norris (Svetlana), Keith Norris (Liz); brothers, Johnny Norris, Mike Norris (Jane); sister in law, Bernelle Norris; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, March 10 at 11am at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 N. Main St 32206, with Rev. Bill Tyler officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday (TODAY) from 7-8pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd 32218, 714-1110.
