Note: Reportedly lived in Hocking Township, Fairfield County, Ohio until divorced when her children were young (William age approximately 2 years, perhaps around 1880), then moved with her children to Lancaster, Ohio. Her mother's maiden name was Garner. She had a brother, John. The 1900 Census suggests that Amelia with her children were living separately from husband John in that year, probably in Hocking Township (may later be part of the city of Lancaster).
