Note: Married Louis Stamps in Lucien, Miss. Lived there three years. Moved to Silver Creek for six months, then to Sumrall for fifteen months. Louise born Sept. 3, 1914, in Licien. Stamps died in Hattiesburg during flu epidemic abt 1918. Lola returned to home place in Gwinville and lived with her family there until they moved to Oak Grove. Went to school at Miss. Southern for six weeks to get teachers certificate, then taught at Oak Grove school for one year. She returned to Lucien to work for Rainwater. Met H. R. Mallory 1918. Married Nov. 21, 1920 at Baptist church in Brookhaven. Then traveled by train to New Orleans for honeymoon. Stayed at St. Charles. Louise stayed with Granny Byrd until they returned. Family then settled into new home in Quentin, Miss. Mallory worked at lumber mill as bookkeeper. Later took over as superintendant.
