Note: Dr. Alva Roy - A methodist minister, he was a graduate of Rheinhardt College, Emory University, and Columbia University's Union Seminary. He served 35 years in the methodist minister, largely in the Oklahoma Conferences first as minister, then as District Superintendent. In later years he servied as Executive Secretary of the City Board of Missions to establish urban methodist churches.
He was a Second Lieutenant of Infantry U.S. Army, WWI, being wounded in action during the battle for the Meuse - Argonne.
