Note: The decendants of Sarah Freeman's family are of interest. They were prominent in Newman, GA, including a Judge Robert H. Freeman. One of his daughters, Mary, served as a W.A.C. in World War I, never married and died quite wealthy. Mary's brother, Bob Walt Freeman, lived in Senoia and worked in the Farmers and Merchants Bank with H. G. Hutchinson. Bob Walt's daughter Mary was one year ahead of me in the Senoia Public Schools. She later inherited her aunt Mary's fortune and now is married to a Judge Byron Mathews. Mary was the first girl I ever kissed!! NOTE: Aside from my last remark, I am indebted to "Aunt" Mary Blanton (Gray) Hutchinson and my Uncle Dub (John Wilbon) for much of this interesting background. Written by Homer Gray Hutchinson, Jr.
