Note: There is a will on file in Highland Co. Ohio dated 2/14/1816 of an Andrew Watts with a wife Sarah that has sons named Samuel and James (a minor), and Jane. There were other children not named. Witnesses were Strain and Watts which both are in our lines. Also there was a James Watts with wife Ann buried in Rocky Springs Cem. who was a Rev. War patriot in South Carolina who would be about the same age as Andrew. James served as a private and lieutenant before and after the fall of Charleston under Capt. Pickens, Weenes, William Strain and General Pickens. Lost a horse while in service in 1780. Married to Jenny? (Note the Strain surname which the Watts are associated with in S.C. and Ohio and Iowa.)
