The guild members efforts were concentrated on three aims: First: They undertook opening a Sunday School; Second: Soliciting members to the newly formed church: Third: Assisting the needy families of the community. In 1922 The Rev. Father Roy Wallace Mason became the Vicar of St. Augustines and remained until 1935. John Jules VanNess was baptized under Father Roy W. Mason while Cecil Inez Vanness and Mary Jayne Vannes were baptized under Father Campbell Gray. The Right Rev. Campbell Gray was the Vicar of St. Augustine's from 1913 to 1922.
