a. Note:   John Christopher Seigworth was born in Metzingen, Province of Wurttemberg, Germany, in 1807. He was the son of George Siegwarth, and brother
 of John George. He came to America with his parents and brother when he was
 about eight years old. He married Mary Kapp, daughter of George and Hanna Kuhs
 Kapp. John Christopher was also known as Christian and Crist.
 He served as a trustee of the St. John's Lutheran Church when it was built in
 1842 and thereafter for many years. In 1857 he was the commissioner of Clarion
 County. Census records of 1840 list Crist, head of household, wife Mary, and
 father George living with him. Census records show his occupation as a farmer.
