Note: information can be found in the "North Dakota Land Patents Database" (now located in the eastern part of Iowa), which lists a land purchase by John Hedican in 11/02/1889, and and an adjacent property purchased by Edward Hedican in 12/29/1888. These could be the sons of Edward Hedican and Catherine Enright. The 1871 Ont census list a Lalm?, very indistinct, but could be John, born 1861 or 1862, which is a close fit in years, and Edward born abt. 1865
