a. Note:   This child was fathered by James Winn. He deserted the family and her mother married Ed Prothero who adopted her.
  Buried in the Mesa City Cemetery, Arizona. Sarah's last residence was in
 Norwalk, California at the Beeman Sanitarium. She died 24 June 1952 at
 9:20 a.m. due to a fall out of bed which caused a cerebral hemmorrage.
 The autopsy called the death accidental. Residence bef. this was at 14429
 Devlin Ave, Norwalk, California. Neighbor remembers the Wood family
 living there with children; Kathleen, Pauline, Don, Glen. These are
 possibly Sarah Jane's grandchildren.
