  She was born August 13, 1897, in Mildord, the daughter of Francis and Claire Crane Seley. She moved from Dwight to Topeka in 1945 and to Janesville, Minnesota in 1987.
  She was married to Corbett Iams on December 25, 1914, in JunctionCity. He died September 15, 1979. A son, Frank Iams, and two daughters,Sadie Ruth Iams and Jessie Marie Iams, preceded her in death.
  Survivors include a daughter, Marge Cowdin, Janesville, Minnesota;three sons, George Iams, Longmont, Colorado, Herm Iams, Glendo Wyoming, and Laurence Iams, Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Myrtle Kahle, Overbrook, Kansas; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
  Services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Mount Hope Chapel. Burialwill be in Mount Hope Cemetery. She will lie in state from 8 to 10:30 AMTuesday at Mount Hope Chapel. Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home is in chargeof Topeka arrangements.
