a. Note:   !Immigration: Left Germany on 3 November 1928 with stops at Southhampton and Cherbourge. The ships name was the Berlin and it sailed from Bremen. The were scheduled to arrive in New York on the 13 of November 1928 but on the 12th she was detained to pick up survivors from the British ship Vestris that has sailed from New York on the 10th. During a bad storm the cargo in the Vestris shifted and after a further shift in the coal bunkers she capsized and sank. Of the 532 passengers and crew, 112 were lost. The survivors were picked up by a French tanker Myiam, the US battleship Wyoming, and the Berlin. The Berlin took aboard 18 crew and 5 passengers. !Confirmed: 1 Apr 1900
