1. Title:   Death Certificate for Imogene Horton

a. Note:   Imogene Horton was the 4th child of Manley Horton and Mary Alice Blood. Her father's pension file from the civil war states her birth as 3 October, 1890 but her death certificate lists the year as 1889. She was born in Pawpaw, Lee County, Illinois.
  Imogene first appears in the 1900 census for Earl Township, LaSalle County, Illinois. She is 10 years old and lives with her mother Mary, brother Howard age 23, Roy age 16 and the youngest brother Harry age 8. Her father Manley died on 6 May, 1900 in Earl, LaSalle County, Illinois.
  In 1910 this family is living in Berwyn, Cook County, Illinois. Her mother Mary is now 55, H.Roy is 26, Imogene is 20, Harry is 18, Howard is 34 and Howard's wife Sadie is 27.
  Somewhere between 1910 and 1920 Imogene married Harold Finer. They are living in Waukegan, Lake County, Illinois. In 1910 her mother Mary and Harold's step-father Joseph Woodward are living with them.
  Imogene and Harold are living at 814 Porter St. according to the 1922 city directory for Waukegan.
  Imogene died on 9 June, 1959 in Waukegan, Illinois. Cause of death was broncho pneumonia. She also had a breast removed on 1 May, 1959. According to the information on her death record, she only lived in Waukegan for 9 years. She is listed as a widow. No further information on her husband can be learned to date. Imogene is buried with her brother Horatio Leroy and his wife Alice in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Zion, Lake County, Illinois. The funeral home and cemetery who handled her arrangements have no records for her husband Harold
