Note: Was a Corporal in the Ninth Air Force during WWII. Served in England, France, and Germany. Was involved with some type of "secret service" and was never allowed to let his family know where he was. Was a Corporal in the service. Never married, no children. Called "Buster" as a nick name. Was grandma Royse's (Ina Louise) favorite brother. Sent my mother (Sandra Louise Royse) a pair of wooden dutch shoes from Holland that she still has.
Died by drowning in New Jersey under suspicious circumstances. He was afraid of water and never went near the water. He would not likely have been in water or swimming. Also, the military would not allow an open casket funeral. He was likely murdered.
