Obituary: "George A. Hruska and his wife lived in Lewistown until 1925
when they moved to a farm east of Moore. In 1929, they moved to a ranch
in Cottonwood Valley, southwest of Lewistown.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Leo's Catholic Church,
Western Bohemian Fraternal Association and the Eagles Lodge.
Mr. Hruska, 88, died early Wednesday evening in the Central Montana
Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Howells, Neb., a son of Vaclav and Anna Hruska. He
received his schooling in Lewistown, attending St. Mary's School. On May
1, 1923, he married Marie A. Janicek in Moore.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald g.; a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Betty)
Anderson; a brother, Frank B; and a sister, Martha Matejcek, all of Lewistown; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday in St. Leo's Catholic Church. Mass
will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Leo's with burial in
Calvary Cemetery. Cloyd Funeral Home is in charge."
