Continued:   Obituary-September 16, 1938-Georgetown Times Albert Percival Ward Passes Away Wednesday: Albert Percival Ward passed away at his residence on the Charleston Highway, Wednesday afternoon. He had been in ill health for some time but his death came suddenly. He was born November 22, 1880, the son of Leonard and Catherine Dennis Ward. He is survived by his widow, the former Miss Sarah Harrelson, and three sons; James A. Ward, Atlanta, Ga.; A. P Ward, Jr., New York City, and Samuel M. Ward of Georgetown. Mr. Ward was former mayor of Pooler, Ga. Where for 20 years he made his home, and he was also a Spanish American war veteran. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Mayer Funeral Home.
