Harry started life as a farmer, in the Wayne county,Il area. He later moved to Detroit Michigan, where he took up the trade of Motor Mechanic, he later change his occupation to structural steel worker.
Harry Wilson died of heart failure. Harry`s obituary from the Wayne county Press, reads as follows.
Harry E. Wilson Dies. Harry E. Wilson age 57, a former Wayne county resident, and the son of the late William L Wilson, and nephew of Paul " Ted" Wilson also of this city, passed away at his home in Mt Clements, Mi., saturday. He had been suffering from a heart condition. The body arrived in Fairfield, monday and funeral services were conducted wednesday morning from the Nele funeral home by Rev. J L Mitchell. Burial was at the Maple Hill Cemetery. Mr Wilson was born in Wayne county on November18, 1889. Surviving are his widow and three children, Mrs Virginia Thompson,and Mrs Hazel Thomas of Detroit, Michigan and Leonard Wilson of Gary Indiana.
