a. Note:   4/99: Agnes Emma Herz Niehaus was my husband's grandmother. I met her about 1966 and visited with her during visits to Nebraska until her death in 1987. I knew her to be a lovely lady with a fondness for family, for cooking and for gardening. She worked as a farm wife and raised three children. She worked in a hospital--food preparation for a short time. She lived in Good Samaritan Village for a while before her death.
