Raised and adopted by Jean ( her aunt - Edwards sister) from birth until about 8 years old, then reclaimed and taken back by her father when he remarried (Elizabeth). Jean was a very permissive parent with much love. Elizabeth and Edward were very strict. As soon as she was old enough she went to Chicago. It was there that she married and divorced a man whom we don't know. She then met and married Edward Macarow in Chicago.
