 A) Parents of Geo. Werner Hoffacker moved from Mahoning Co., OH to Mercer County, PA in 1853 and located on a farm in what is now Perry Twp.
 B) Emma Long says: "I am sure there was a Michael too lived on place east of school, maybe an uncle or brother of George Hoffacker". Emma also
 says: 6 (six) children to Mary Werner. Emma also says: "the land I think was
 donated or given to the first George at a low price as he was a veteran of
 the War of 1812, some said 25 cents an acre.
 C) Mabel Titus says: George Hoffacker was married 3 times, each time to a widow, not confirmed. Mabel Titus also says: 5 girls to George & Mary
 Pellemore (? Peterman) Oshell
 D) "Mercer Co. History" 1888 says: 6 sons to George and Mary Werner and indicates more than 4 children to George and Mary Pellemore Oshell.
