Vol V-No 4, published in 1986 has a John Hoffacker (b. 4/27/1792, d. 11/12/1872) in the "Burial of War of 1812 Veteran's Grave register", York Co., Captain 2nd Company Pennsylvania Volunteer 1814, buried in St David's (Sherman) Cemetery, W. Manheim Twp., York County, PA. (Note that this John Hoffacker has the same date of birth as Johannes Hofacker in the church records of the St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church.) 2. Vol 5-No 2, pg 16, an item from an old York County newspaper, "York Democratic Press & Peoples Advocate" dated Saturday, 25 Sept 1841 under "Election Proclamation" excerpt, "The Elector of the Township of Manheim to meet at the house of John Hoffacker, in said township. 3. Vol I-No1, published 1983, has John C. Hoffacker ($50) on the "1848 Tax List", Spring Garden Township, York County.
