a. Note:   Wrote a column for the Biweekly Farm Report published in Dallas TX he met Lille through the column. After the death of his first wife Ida Evans he stopped writing for a while. When he went back to the column he ask for letters from readers that remembered his column. Lille a widow with two small children answered the request they began a correspondence that lasted for a year. They had never met in person when Lee proposed, however they had exchanged pictures. She was living in Hillsboro with her parents he had her met him at the train station and they went to Waco and got married. Romantic, Huh?
