  Practiced medicine in Waco, Texas about 1879 then moved back to Roane County, Tennessee south of Kingston in Fairview.( It is said that Belle said that a storm came up and blew the roof of their home and she said, "That's it" and left Texas. Belle was scared of storms)All of his children were born on Richard Aretmus Stegall's farm south of Kingston, Tennessee on Highway 58, which is now owned by Dr. L. Stegall.
