a. Continued:   After graduating from Colorado School of Mines in 1901, he worked asa Mining Engineer with Boston & Montana Cons Copper & Silver MiningCompany in Butte Montana from 1901 to 1905. He was Director & GeneralManager of Copper Queen Cons Mining Company in Idaho from 1905 to1906. He was General Manager of Montana Cons Copper & Silver Miningof Basin in 1906-1907. He was General Manager of Abbontiakoon Block 1Ltd and other companies of Gold Coast Colony, West Africa in1908-1909, where he redesigned mine and mill equipment and placed themines on a production basis. When he returned to the states, hebecame General Manager with the New England and Clifton Copper Companyof Clifton Arizona from 1909-1910. He left that to open an office inDenver as a consulting engineer and did work for a number of companiesincluding: American Zinc, Lead and Smelting Co; The American Zinc Coof Illinois; Wisconsin Zinc Co; Black Iron Mine; Oceanic QuicksilverCo of California; Wickenbuarg Lead Company of Arizona and severalproperties in Mexico. While engaged in consulting work he was alsoDirector and Assistant Manager at the Western Chemical Company ofDenver in 1818-1919. For four years he was president of the A.K.McDaniel Company of Maine with offices in Boston Mass. Mining came toa complete standstill in the crash of 1929, and he had no work at all. In 1942 he was appointed supervising engineer with the mining branchof the Reconstruction Finance Corp. He was there until he died in1944. He is listed in "Who's Who in Engineering". He was a member ofAmerican Institute of Mining & Metal Engineers Dir WCMCo in 1920. Hewas a Shriner and becam a member of Denver Country Club and UniversityClubs.
