Note: and Southwest of Moose Mountain (later Tenney Hill) New Hampshire anda little north of where the Wollfboro Road crosses the mountain.
His brother Andrew lived about three fourths of a mile away. Hishouse was on the western slope of Tenney Hill, in which he resided 80years.
He came at the age of eleven years with his parents to Hanover. Hewas a soldier and a pensioner of the Revolutionary war. He died March1851. He raised 13 children and ten were living at his death and atthat time he had 69 descendants.
