Note: y. She fell asleep while driving and the car rolled three times. All of us, except Dad, were thrown from the car. Mom was dead at the scene, here chest was crushed. I was the first to wake up and see what happened. After awhile a car came, they took us kids to a little cournty store to wait for an ambulance. We spent about a week in the hospital.
We were living in San Jose, California at the time - had been there less than a year. We were travelling back to Missoula to visit both Dad and Mom's families.
Mom is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
