a. Note:   LANGShe talked Dutch REFN164 [McConn.FTW] Funeral services were held at the 1st Baptist Church in Cherryvale, Kansas, at 3:00 p.m. The minister was Rev. Elbert Menge of Ramona, Oklahoma. The music was by the masonic quartet: Charles Gregg, John Murphy, Willis Herrington, and S. W. Squier. The accompanist was Mrs. Ralph Blades. The songs were: Goodnight Here, But Goodmorning Up There, Remember Me, Oh Might One and That Beautiful Land. Grandsons were pallbearers: Floyd McConnell, Dale McConnell, Louis McConnell, Robert McConnell, Joe Newland, and Charles Miller. Flower Girls were granddaughters: Mrs. Charles Miller, Mrs. Wayne Smith, Mrs. William McKenzie, Mrs. Joe Newland, Mrs. Louis McConnell, and Miss Nadine McConnell. Relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fately of Fredonia, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Hayden of Fredonia, Kansas, Anthony Brougher of Aurora, Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. Will Friley, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Brougher, Paul Brougher, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Smith of Moline, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. William McKenzie of Elk City, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wagner of Coffeyville, and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Welch of Independence, Kansas.
